Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families is funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) MWR Library Program, the DoD Navy General Library Program, the DoD Voluntary Education Program and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA). Those who fund the program determine eligibility for its use. Long-term availability of the program is not guaranteed.

Currently, children (grades K-12) of an active duty service member (including full-time and/or deployed National Guard and Reserve) in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard and deployed DoD Civilian families are eligible to use the program at no cost.

Active duty service members in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard (including full-time and/or deployed National Guard and Reserve) are also eligible to use the program at no cost. Coast Guard reservists who are part-time/traditional drilling, their spouses and children are also eligible to use the program. DoDEA Non-Military Students

If you attend a DoDEA school and do not meet the DoD eligibility requirements for the Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families program, Tutor.com can provide you with some courtesy access to our service.

DoDEA Educators

If you are a DoDEA educator, you can create a limited trial account to see how Tutor.com works. Complete this form to start your trial access.

Funding for this program is currently not provided for:

  • Part-time/traditional drilling Air and Army National Guard and Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps Reserve service members, their spouses and their children
  • Spouses and other adult (including college-age) dependents of active duty Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps service members
  • All U.S. Military Veterans and Retirees (those separated from military service) and their dependents
  • Department of Defense Civilian personnel and their adult dependents
  • Grades K-12 children of Dependent of Department of Defense personnel who are not deployed
  • Academy cadets

Continued program availability is dependent upon funding.
