Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families is funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) MWR Library Program and Navy General Library Program. Department of Defense sponsorship of this service for military families is dependent upon the availability of funds. Grades K-12 students in active duty U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and deployed DoD Civilian families are eligible to use the program at no cost. Some adults are also eligible. The DoD, which funds the program, determines who is eligible to use it. Eligibility can change, so check current eligibility requirements by clicking the blue button above that corresponds to your family’s branch of service. If you attend a DoDEA school and do not meet the DoD eligibility requirements for the Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families program, Tutor.com can provide you with some courtesy access to our service.

Funding for this program is currently not provided by the DoD for:

  • Active Duty Coast Guard personnel and their dependents
  • Non-deployed Department of Defense Civilians and their dependents
  • U.S. Military Veterans or Retirees and their dependents
  • Part-time/drilling National Guard personnel and their dependents
  • Part-time/drilling Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Reserve Personnel and their dependents
